Deep ruby colour. Complex aroma with details of red fruit, rockrose trees and moka. In the mouth shows himself intense and deep, well balanced by the tannin firme structure with a long and persistente ending.
Service and Harmonization
To enjoy with red, hunting meat or traditional portuguese sausages. Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
|Vineyard||Vineyard plots located on the steep slopes of River Pinhão banks, between 150m and 400m altitude, with a poor and rugged shale soil of low production and high concentration and grape quality.|
|Varieties||Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz|
|Winemaking||Fresh and matured to perfection grapes, harvested by hand to 20kg boxes. After destemmed and softly crush, the grapes suffered 5 days of cold macerations. Fermenting during 10 days, with a daily "delestage". Upon alcoholic fermentation, 50% of the batch aged in french oak barrels for 12 months.|
